I don't know what it is about this picture of my son's car that I find so comforting.  Perhaps it's the sheer innocence of the subject.  It's not as if the shot were staged--I just happened to notice sunlight streaming through the window.  The camera happened to be nearby.  I was lucky.

But maybe what I really like about this picture is that it evokes the warmth and simplicity of childhood.  I see this picture and think, well, my wife and I must be doing something right.

Right?
