Larry gets a haircut!  From Mr. Giancarli, the barber who accidentally killed Larry's father!

Oscar puts up quite a fight, and, once freed from Larry's mane, does not go quietly.

Just as things are starting to look up for our hero, it turns out that the whole incident was a shock therapy-induced hallucination.

Meanwhile, Dreyfus, Oscar's no-good brother, is still nosing around for information on his wayward sibling.  His search leads him to Sam, the snake living in Jack Jackson's beard.  Ultimately, all roads lead to the asylum as Larry's preschool fan club pays a visit to his padded room.

Their class trip is interrupted by Dr. Sachtler, who shoos the children from the room.  Zuby lingers behind, fearful that "someone be hu'tin' my FWEN'."

And rightfully so.  Dr. Sachtler, his reputation on the line for insisting that Oscar is dead, realizes that he may have made a critical error in judgment.  Brandishing a pair of scissors, the doctor tells Larry, "I will make sure that only a dead bat is found...one way or another..."
