Tony Giancarli has the dubious distinction of being the barber who accidentally killed Larry's father.  Keep in mind that Mr. Giancarli didn't mean to stab Larry's father in the head with a pair of scissors.  And while he may have been absolved from any wrongdoing on that fateful day, Mr. Giancarli has nevertheless been consumed by an overwhelming, crippling guilt.

There isn't a day that the old man doesn't offer up a heartfelt apology to Larry, who, to his credit, does not really blame Mr. Giancarli for his present state of affairs. 

Be that as it may, this humble barber may still one day be the one to free Larry from his demons.

Salvation for him, and for Larry, could be one haircut away...
