Larry's Father

Larry's father never knew what hit him. Too bad the same couldn't be said for his son, Larry. Perhaps this is why dear, dead old dad keeps returning from beyond the grave--to help, rather than haunt. (Can he really be to blame if his spectral appearance is that of a 12-foot spectre with a huge pair of scissors jutting from his head?)

Whatever the case may be, he is never far from his son's thoughts. As Larry so succinctly puts it when pressed by his father's ghost to cut his hair, "I don't want to wind up like you!"

Larry's Mother

Larry's mother, always protective of her son, falls into a deep catatonia after a bat crashes through the kitchen window and gets stuck in Larry's hair.

But her catatonic state isn't the weird part. No, what Larry soon discovers is that his mother, in her coma-like state, is actually telepathic. This proves to be a boon for her, enabling her to really "get inside her son's mind."

Larry, however, is not as thrilled by this turn of events, as his mother has a penchant for bad timing and even worse advice.

Sister Lora

The big shock for Larry is not that his sister, Lora, is out for his blood. What's most shocking to him is that he HAS a sister, period. He has no recollection of her, even though they spent several years under the same roof.

While Larry had his share of problems growing up, Lora's childhood was no picnic either. She informs Larry that after their father's demise, Lora's new perm so upset Larry that their mother sent her off to an inner-city convent. There, she received martial-arts training, and went on to become a black-belt nun.

As Sister Lora tells it, she led her convent to five consecutive wins in the All-State Nun Competitions.
